So now that you've finished your project, tell us what it's like to be an ARTIST!

You will work with your group to brainstorm and outline a 1-2 paragraph response to a combination of the questions below.  For homework, you will post to this blog individually.  I can't wait to hear your reflections!

You must answer at least two of these questions:
What was the best thing about your role?
What do you think the biggest surprise about the process would be to an outsider?
What is the toughest thing about getting a film project done?
What advice can you give to people wanting to get into the film making/game making business?
What do you feel is missing in entertainment today?
What is the best thing that ever happened to you while shooting?
What do you love about directing/acting?
What areas would you like to explore in the future?
How will your project be valuable for future students?
What is an important part of the game making process?

AND you must answer at least one of these questions (connection to Hollis):
How can art help someone who is going through a rough time?
Can art bring people together? How?
Art is powerful because......
Art is timeless because......

When you are ready to post, use a word processor to eliminate spelling/grammar issues.  Posts that show no editing/several mistakes will not be accepted.  Make it count!

don't forget to use signal words!

Here are some questions/statements to get you started:

Make an INFERENCE!

Use clues from the reading AND background knowledge to answer the following question:

At the end of Chapter Two, Hollis says, "I thought about Steven and the Old Man and Izzy and I put my hand on my chest because there was such an ache inside."

At the end of Chapter Three, Hollis says, "Why did I have to mess everything up?"

Make an INFERENCE! Why do you think Hollis aches inside? What do you think she messed up and WHY?

Think deeply and write an insightful, 1-2 paragraph post.

Check for simple errors, if there are too many it will not be posted!
