Mr. PestoneThis is my 3rd year teaching at East and my 8th year in Braintree! I grew up on the South Shore, and started working as a counselor at Camp Wachusett for Boys in Hubbardton, Vermont when I was 16, which gave me my first valuable experiences as an educator. Throughout my undergrad years at the University of Vermont and afterwards, I worked in various facets of the after-school and pre-school programs at the YMCA in Burlington, Vermont. After eventually serving as the Assistant Director of Camp Wachusett and spending some time as a substitute teacher, I returned to school to pursue my Masters degree in Education at Northeastern University. Before working in Braintree, I was a 3rd and 5th grade teacher in Cohasset. I live in Pembroke with my wife and daughter, and in my free time, I enjoy: fishing, surfing, reading, disc golf, watching the Bruins, hiking with my dog, and playing the drums.
