Level Two Vocabulary

Picture

So...How did they do it?

  1. Your picture should be drawn to represent your sentence, so you’ll have to think really hard about what you want to draw.  While I would have liked this student to spend more time on their drawing, I can still identify what they are trying to display (the numerous events of the night Paul Revere took his famous ride, such as the river crossing in the boat and the Old North Church’s lantern.  All of these events contributed to the American Revolution.  Be artistic! Use color if you want!

  2. Your sentence needs to convey an understanding of the word.  It should NOT be a direct quote from the story or something that happened in the story, but rather something that could have happened in the story! MAKE INFERENCES about the characters' traits to help you write these sentences!
