YOU AND YOUR GROUP have the opportunity to change it forever.  It’s up to you, how will you make it a fair, yet effective place?
 
Things to consider:
-Is it effective to use digging holes to reform character?
 
-How would you change Camp Green Lake to make it an effective place?
 
-In other words, how could Camp Green Lake ACTUALLY help the boys become better people…It’s up to you!

1. What could be done differently to maximize Stanley and Zero's chances of surviving their ascent of God's Thumb?

2. What evidence can you present that supports the fact that their ascent will lift the curse placed on Stanley's family?

CHALLENGE ***EXTRA CREDIT***  Can you propose an alternative to them climbing the thumb? It must, in a different way,  be able to lift the curse placed on Stanley's family (the curse from his grandfather).  GET CREATIVE!

-write a letter to Stanley.
-ask a clarifying question about the book? (Is there something you just don't understand?)
-make a connection to real life or another book.
-Anything else you want to say about the book!

Your post should be at least one paragraph long, your best work, and edited!  A helpful tip: write your post in Word, edit it, then copy and paste.

Respond respectfully to at least one classmate!
